Greetings to all, we've just wrapped up an exciting evening of glitz, glitter and gratitude at our 2024 Star Awards! A night where we celebrate the hard work, dedication and extraordinary contributions of the incredible individuals who make our team stand out from the rest.
Our red carpet event at the beautiful Blacklick Park Golf course was a night filled with excitement and appreciation. With music played by DJ Joe setting the mood, our attendees certainly felt like the stars they are. From our executives to our Direct Support Professionals, and everyone in between, each one of you plays an integral role in making us the successful and sought-after agency that we are today.
The Star Awards are not your ordinary awards. They're chosen by you—our team—celebrating your peers for their standout contributions. This peer recognition is more than just a pat on the back; it’s about building a supportive and upbeat workplace where everyone feels valued.
From the Team Player Award to the Dedication Award, each category was thoughtfully created to highlight and honor the diverse skills and qualities of our team members. Inspiring his peers with his positive and motivating spirit, Abdoul Kamara won the Team Spirit Award.
Fatouma Sam, took home the Customer Service Award for her unwavering dedication to our clients.
The Innovation Award was earned by Mohammed Swaray for his creative solutions and fresh ideas.
The Community Impact Award was won by Mamadou Diallo for his significant contributions to the community.
Mohammed Kaba took home the Creativity Award for his innovative thinking.
The Empathy Award was given to Elizabeth Bakong for her exceptional understanding and compassion.
The Safety Star Award was bestowed upon Assatou Sylla for her dedication to creating a secure environment.
And finally, the Dedication Award went to Binta Diallo for her unwavering dedication to their work.
We wrapped up the night with a final round of awards – chosen by management, where the Visionary award was given to Veronica Asong, Paperwork Prodigy Award given to Ibrahim Diop, House Manager of the Year was awarded to Alexa Hosey, Employee of the Year to Yvonne Yeiri, and the Leadership of the Year took the spotlight as our Project Manager, Abdoul Aziz Mamadou took the final award.
Our CEO, Victoria Sekou-Mamadou also gave additional awards to Mamadou Dia, Abdoul Ali, Eric Hairston, Lenny Hairston and Joanna Hairston.
